This cafe mural at Good Brother Espresso in Newcastle’s CBD was produced as part of the This Is Not Art Festival (TiNA) in late 2015. Painting murals for an audience is not usually an element that I have to deal with but this one was a fun challenge, keeping me on my toes and holding […]
Often I like to do an illustrative style study just so I can compile a bunch of my ideas or creative techniques in one place so I don’t forget them or can use them as reference when I’m working or looking to take on a new angle or be inspired when I’m at a crossroads […]
As an on-going series, Diamonds in the Rough, I painted this portrait of Dennis Rodman for my good mate, Mit. Simply a mix of airbrush and acrylic painting to produce this one. Dennis Rodman is a legendary NBA basketball player for the Detroit Pistons, San Antonio Spurs and Chicago Bulls and as a quick little […]
As an on-going series, Diamonds in the Rough, I painted this portrait of Lonzo Ball for my good mate, Ohnoes. Simply a mix of airbrush and acrylic painting to produce this one. Lonzo Ball is a new NBA basketball player for the LA Lakers and as a quick little way to improve my painting chops […]
Street art jams come and go and I’ve been very fortunate to do a few at The Stockroom and around Melbourne but sometimes the planets truly do align and you get to paint with a real legend. I’ve been a fan of Captain Kris‘ work for a long time and I was very lucky to […]
Over my career I’ve been very fortunate to work with some truly incredible creatives, this job was yet another one of those times. I was invited by Zahra Zainal to collaborate on a huge community mural project for St Augustine’s Moreland in Coburg, Melbourne. With a funky mix of colour, shape and tearing brush strokes […]
What a beast! This has been one of my best feature wall murals to date. The guys at Crossfit Kia Kaha were simply just legends. Putting together this design and then being given freedom to develop the piece further within the space was an absolute dream. With a solid kiwi warrior core to this business […]
PokemonGO meets Street Art in this fun little parody of Bulbasaur all boxed up in ACDC Lane in Melbourne’s CBD. A touch of Russkid getting in on the action to add that wonderful flowing organic vibes.
“White Tiger” street art mural was an accidental collaboration wall between myself and Ohnoes. Utilising the shared wall and black background we threw together own individual styles and came up with this calming marriage of lady and tiger. We produced the piece over a couple of hours as always with a lot of banter and many smiles and laughs had by all.
Executed with a mix of aerosol and house paints this winding composition snakes it’s way across the uneven surface with a bounce in its step.
I was asked by The Royale Brothers to come up with a funky Tractor Racing illustration for their unique “Royale” styled staff tshirts… Final Illustration On the tshirt 🙂
Painting is the best! Especially when it’s collaborating with good mates, Chehehe and Ohnoes. And it’s even more special when it’s for a very inspirational and close friend… An oldie but a goldie, with Ohnoes in the center, then Chehehe, then myself in my fossil phase 🙂
Sometimes, it really is a matter of perspective. The work of artist M. C. Escher was the inspiration behind this rad stairwell mural in Sydney, which meant being able to play with architecture, geometry and optical illusion. With the smell of aerosol in the air and surrounded by friends, it was not hard to get […]
What does the world look like in 3016…? Myself and Chehehe think this may just be a good glimpse into our future adrift in the ether. Joining forces on Sunday for a paint, Chehehe and I decided on a colour scheme and hit the collaborative wall at the Artshole. Inspired by the technological and the […]
Recently, I was fortunate enough to be part of the artist line up for General Pants Co.’s Insight collection launch party. Dubbed BAD PIZZA, the iconic Aussie streetwear brand was looking for pizza themed artworks to display at their launch and I was more than happy to oblige. What can I say, I’m all about that […]
I was approached by one of Australia’s best street art web resource Invurt to reimagine their branding, which I was more than excited to do. Invurt is a Melbourne-based website that documents the latest and greatest in the street art scenes across Australasia and Southeast Asia. Playing off their name, it was a no-brainer to create […]
One of my very first commissioned murals in Melbourne, this mixed media aerosol piece can be found at Handsome & Co. in Richmond. As someone with an appreciation for the beauty of woodgrain myself, I knew that this piece had to have a wood in it. Handsome and Co. is a school of fine woodworking and […]
A little splash and quite a bit of stencilling and this piece turned into an eye catching piece of visually contrasting fun.
Late in 2015 I was given a very unique opportunity to get arty on one of the impressive Uppercup cups.
Myself and William Nghiem were fortunate enough to be invited to take on this well frequented Commune canvas.
