I’ve been very lucky in my art journey to have some amazing clients and Sally and Mick Hodgeson are a perfect example of said amazing clients letting me loose to be creative is Lounging Lips. With their brief being simply “paint us some awesome in our living room” it wasn’t long before my cheeks started to ache from smiling. I decided to give them a true “Keo” original.
The piece in the end utilizes my now common keometry and textural visual narrative build. I went for a sensual caring focus point being the lips, thus the Lounging Lips title. They are in a sense making a slight reference to there being a guardian over the room, not dissimilar to “Mother Natures” role over the environment.
This piece was such terrific fun and was loved soo much by the Hodgeson’s that they got me back to add also to their dining room, Feathered Prismess.
